Add the right people to a campaign

Contacts, lists, CSV, a pasted LinkedIn search, or Signals. Clean rows auto-approve. Review only if something is flagged.

·Updated ·2 min read

You do not need a lead database to run OmniReach. You need a short list you believe in, or Signals when timing matters.

After import, flags are explained in Review flags and hold to launch. Background on Signals: Signal-based outbound and Signals. First campaign with CSV only: Launch your first campaign.

Pick a source

SourceWhen to use it
ContactsPeople already in the workspace. Enroll without re-uploading.
ListsSaved slices you reuse across campaigns
Upload CSVA list you already believe in. First-campaign default.
From LinkedIn search (Contacts)Paste a LinkedIn search URL; we pull results through the connected account. Keep the import short: you cannot invite faster than the weekly cap, and a single search only returns the first ~1,000 classic / ~2,500 Sales Navigator rows anyway.
SignalsBuying-signal recommendations with score and evidence. Actions: Save to Contacts, Add to List, Enroll in Campaign, Dismiss. Beta.

Prefer a short list over a long CSV. Cap pressure and warm-up matter more than row count. See connection request limits.

CSV expectations

  • A LinkedIn URL is what makes a row launchable (Missing URL otherwise).
  • Email is needed only if the sequence has an Email step.
  • Keep the list short.
  • Duplicates in the same campaign flag as Duplicate. Skip one.

Eligibility chips when adding:

  • Ready
  • In this campaign
  • Suppressed
  • No LinkedIn URL
  • In another campaign
  • Missing …

Those chips save a trip to Review when someone is already enrolled or on the workspace do-not-contact list.

Signals enroll

Targeting comes from onboarding (ICP, topics). Each card shows a score and evidence. Actions on a card: Save to Contacts, Add to List, Enroll in Campaign, Dismiss.

You can enroll into an existing campaign in one click. ICP and topics come from onboarding Confirm and Signals targeting; you do not rebuild them here. Use Signals when timing matters.

Live campaigns

Add people is a right sheet on the campaign overview (Contacts / Lists / CSV). Clean rows auto-approve. Hold to launch from the sheet. Open Review only for flags.

You can launch a campaign with zero people and enroll later. Adding later does not dump you through a full Review wizard for every clean row.

Where they came from

Inbox can show provenance: Signals, CSV, LinkedIn search, Apollo, or MCP. Apollo and MCP exist; this guide does not walk through them. Provenance helps when you need to remember which list or signal drove a reply.

For ICP setup, use onboarding and Signals. Apollo sync and bulk search export are separate topics.

Once the roster has attention rows, go to Review flags and hold to launch. If Email steps need addresses on the CSV, see Build a LinkedIn and email sequence.
